Flag Presentation

Lucas Westerman, 1st Lt. with the 964th AACS, presented a flag and a plaque to the Chokio American Legion on Monday. The plaque noted that the Canadian-American Echo crew of the 964th Expeditionary Airborne Air Control Squadron flew this flag over Afghanistan aboard an E-3 Sentry on an operation. Lucas, the son of Sue and Wayne Westerman of Chokio, was on leave and home for the holidays this past week. He is stationed at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City. Luke, an air battle manager aboard the E-3 Sentry,  and his crew were stationed on an American air base in the Middle East for five months flying missions over Afghanistan.
